Solar installers from as far as Alaska and Puerto Rico gathered together for the 11th Annual Dealer Conference January 23-25, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Resort in San Diego, California. With over 250 solar professionals in attendance, the focus was on the coming year and how the solar industry will evolve, especially with the recent tariffs and other challenges and opportunities.
We kicked off the 2019 Dealer Conference with a hosted Casino Dinner Cruise on the San Diego Bay with a dinner buffet, open bar, professional card dealers, and raffle prizes provided by our sponsors. Two full days of NABCEP CE registered courses, solar industry guest speakers, manufacturer expo and fun networking events followed, taking place in beautiful, sunny San Diego. Sunrun Chief Policy Officer, Anne Hoskins, delivered the keynote address, speaking to current legislative trends in the solar market and how we can all help promote solar energy through the Solar Rights Alliance.
AEE Solar welcomed over 20 manufacturers to exhibit at the event, including Platinum Sponsors OutBack Power, REC Group, and SnapNrack. Attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from these leading solar product manufacturers and hear first-hand about the new products being released in 2019.
